Portfolio Design - V3

(Almost) final version of my portfolio now uploaded.

I am still not happy with the header but due to restricted fonts at college will experiment with more soon.

Also not sure about the colours and may come back to these dependant on feedback from others.

Personally i think your head should be more than just a font that we dont have in college.

have you tried experimenting in photoshop to create a header that is an image, have you tried to create a logo (corp id) for yourself?

The rest of the site is fairly nice and simple so the header will be the only thing that could make you site remembered by people.

I agree with Mirhad you have time to try and develop some form of logo or header image!

What you have done is good so far, I think it needs some personalisation.

I think the lack of colour in the header draws your eyes to the work - i'm not sure if this is good or not, as it may detract from the navigation.

I'm not 100% keen on the font you've used for your name - it looks a bit 'hairdressery' for want of a better expression. I understand that with your name being quite long, it will be hard to write it all out - use initials, maybe?

I think the header should also be an image. I think that a decent header would liven the site up a bit.

I'm still a bit unsure about the large borders around your images. I don't think they need to be that thick.

I agree with the comments about the border being too thick. I think a more subtler border would work better.

The use of larger thumbnails allows the user to see a better example of the work but I feel these may be a bit too big. If you reduced them you could easily fit a few more on.
